Midland, MI – Angela Veda, Vice President, Corporate Counsel, and Jene Urban, Title Manager, attended the 2018 MLTA (Michigan Land Title Association) Boot Camp held at The H Hotel on March 14, 2018. This year’s focus was on Title Examination, titled “The ABC’s thru the XYZ’s of Title Examination”. The speakers for the event discussed the basics of search and examination of title - from different types of deeds, to chains of title, to easements, to underwriting risks. The end of the Boot Camp even included a round of Jeopardy that allowed those attending to participate.
